I started Adger Basketball Association to give young athletes more opportunities to learn, compete, and grow. What began with a 3-on-3 league grew into West Chester Stars Academy, along with individual training and group clinics.
My goal is to build a place where athletes feel supported, challenged, and part of something. Basketball is the vehicle, but the relationships, habits, and lessons go beyond the court.
I’m Briheem “Coach Heem” Adger, founder of Adger Basketball Association and West Chester Stars Academy. I spent 14 years coaching boys basketball at Henderson High School, growing from a volunteer coach to JV coach and assistant varsity coach.
I care about helping athletes understand the game, build confidence, and become great teammates. I’ll challenge them, support them, and make sure they know someone believes in them.
Development comes first. We teach the fundamentals, build good habits, and give athletes room to learn through mistakes.
We value effort, accountability, character, and being a great teammate. We want our athletes to compete in everything, rise through adversity, and carry those lessons into everyday life.
